BASR Power ("BASR," "we," "us") helps Texas businesses review their electricity costs and compare fixed-rate options. This policy explains what we collect through www.basrpower.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Our role: BASR Power is an independent commercial electricity broker. We are not a retail electric provider (REP) or a utility. We gather your information so that REPs can price your account.

Effective October 2026.

We collect what we need to review your bill and prepare a quote.

- Contact details: company name, your name, phone number and email address.

- Account details: your Electric Service Identifier (ESID), service address, and notes you type into our forms.

- Electric bills: the PDF or photo you upload. A bill can show your account number, usage (kWh), demand (kW), charges, current provider and contract end date.

- Automatic data: browser type, device, pages visited and IP address, collected through cookies and analytics tools provided by our website platform.

- To review your bill and usage and prepare a no-cost quote.

- To request prices from REPs on your behalf.

- To contact you about your quote, your contract and your renewal date.

- To keep the website secure and to meet legal and regulatory duties.

- Retail electric providers. To get you a price, we share your company name, service address, ESID, usage and bill information with REPs that quote your account. Each REP is required to follow a strict privacy policy.

- Utilities and market data services. We may use your ESID to request usage history, but only with your authorization.

- Service providers that host our website, store files, or manage our email and customer records. They may use your information only to serve us.

- Authorities, when the law requires it, including the Public Utility Commission of Texas.

We do not sell your personal information, your bills or your ESID.

- Ask us to correct or update your contact details.

- Ask us to stop requesting usage data for your ESID.

- Ask us to delete your uploaded bills. We will do so unless we must keep them for an active contract or a legal reason.

- Unsubscribe from marketing email with the link in any message.

Your information is protected. Our website uses secure (HTTPS) connections, so what you send and upload is encrypted in transit. We keep files with trusted providers and limit access to people who need it. The REPs we work with are required to follow strict privacy policies. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so please send only what a quote needs.

We keep your records while we work with you, through your contract term and renewal tracking, and as long as the law or a dispute requires. Then we delete them or remove identifying details.

Our services are for businesses, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We will post updates here and change the effective date above.
